It depends. One person said they were taken out of context. Mulgrew could have had varying sessions that were then pieced together to be entirely different than what she thought she was recording :O

Pretty clever move by the director, or whoever made the decision, if that is the case. Or maybe she just needed some cash. Only time will tell, but Mulgrew doesn't seem stupid enough to be a geocentrist

She probably needed the money. Reminds me of that silly alien documentary Mike Farrell hosted in the late 80s/early 90s.

Each observer the center of their own light cone, and thus the default center of their own observable universe. :colbert:
You're not in my light cone, so I don't have any rational reason to believe you exist.

Now get out of my Universe! You're messing up my view of things I can't see.

OH SHIT you saw that too?

I lost complete respect for Mike Farrell that day and have never gained it back. Aliens certainly must exist from purely a statistical viewpoint, but I don't think they control our planet and governments and there is NO evidence they've ever visited earth. My proof that they don't control the government? Do you think a superior intelligence would put buffoons like we have in Congress in power?

Good to see them taking a page from the Michael Moore school of production. There will be plenty of truthiness. Negative publicity ahead of the launch pretty much guarantees people will watch it. Bravo, well played.

I know people with all kinds of bizarre ideas about basic astronomy.
One was incredulous when I told her that the moon reflected the sun's light and did not produce its own light. Another is firmly convinced that the moon landings are all fake.

I had a friend who watched that really retarded "documentary" about the moon landings possibly being faked and he actually thought it was "convincing." I shot down every single argument with ease but I bet he still believes it.
