Yeah, but the birth certificate is based on his mothers word and there is no record of him in his home country until 1996, when his mother filed documents stating that he was born in 1989. Do some research.
There is no research to be done. Its a non-issue. The mother has birth documents. Nobody has challenged their validity except by way of rumor mongering.

Try not to hit the Sterno so hard before you watch TV.

Yeah. I saw he 60 minutes piece on him last night. His skills looked to be truly extraordinary. However, he looks and acts MUCH older than 14. It's certainly possible, I guess, but he looks to about 18 or 19 IMO, which makes a tremendous difference as far as his ultimate potential is concerned.

Saw the interview and that's exactly what I thought.

It doesn't matter much now since he's playing with the pros, but the only way we'll probably get a feeling for his age is at what age does he hang up his cleats. Anyone know the average retirement age of a professional soccer player?

Whatever. It's clear you have nothing of substance to add to the discussion other than professing some insight into my alleged alcoholic tendencies. That's rumormongering at its finest, no? Hypocritical, much?
