Your right. A 9-6 win would be considered a killing for the Raiders.

8008S, the Raiders will stumble in the end like they always do; they can't stay sober forever you know.

Btw, I'll be there this Sunday - 50 yard line. Don't think it'll be much of a game though: payback's a bitch.

<To be beat by the Raiders is a humiliating defeat. It's not as if a good team beat the Niners, but a team of under achieving overpaid knuckle draggers with fans who emulate the Village People in appearance and sexual preference. The best thing that can be said about them is that they don't eat their wounded, they usually wait for them to die first.>

Yeah, that's what makes the win even better... :)

<Well there is one thing us Niners fan can be happy about.. Our first round draft choice isn't a complete flop like the Raiders first rounder is.. Hahahah Janakowski, what's that mean in Polish, Wide Right??Bwuhahaha..Ahahahahahahaha >

Well the upside is he can kick them deep on kickoffs, the other teams are starting near their 20 now, instead of near midfield like last year. Also he is cheap for a first rounder, and if he turns out to be a bust, he wont weigh a ton on the salary cap, like a typical first rounder would.

And if he ever does get his accuracy down, he sure will have the leg for 60 yard FG's.

IT WAS A GREAT GAME! I just wish the 49ers played the convicts...uh I mean Raiders...in the second half of the season. It would be a certain win then, since they always choke the 2nd half of the year. OH YEAH...all you Raider fans.......5 Super Bowls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if my Aunt ever grew balls she'd be my Uncle.>

Well Red, if anybody's aunt grew balls, I guess it would be yours. :)

No really, if Jano does ever get better, he'll be a good pickup. He has a new holder, has to adjust to the different ball, and narrower goal posts. His misses have been very close with plenty of distance. He only had bring both o those kicks in a couple of feet. I think they (the raiders) are trying to teach him too much. Angle kickoffs suck, IMHO, and it is probably screwing up his FG's. They changed his kickoff approach to match the cover unit, and they are asking him to slow down on the FG's because the holder is not used to such a fast kick. If they want instant success, they should have adjusted to him, otherwise they'll have to let him have time to adjust.

You left off the smiley, but I see that you got and can take a joke.

<To bad he isn't kicking Handgranades>

Yep, cause those guys in the stands wide left would be in big trouble. :)

<< Angle kickoffs suck...yada..yada... <What we have here folks is your stereo typical sniveling Raider Fan doing what they do best..Sniveling and and amking excuses. Even after beating the Niners, which as is close to the Superbowl they'll get to for decades they are still sniveling about their stupid 1st round draft pick! No wonder LA told them to hit the road!>

I'm not making excuses, no sirree. I'm coaching from TV land. The coach shouldnt have the guy in there until he is ready. I think he should have kept Nedney and Jano, and eased Jano in later in the year, or next year or just used Jano on KO's this year. The worst thing to do now would be to get PO'd after a few games and then toss him, only to have another AFW west team pick him up and then have him become a great kicker. You have to remember that they are 4-1 with him, and he wouldnt have made the difference agaisnt Denver, unless he could've played middle linebacker and stopped Mike Anderson from running all over the place.

Red:
No sweat....
<MrChicken, I have 2 favorite teams. Anybody that beats the Cowboys and anybody that beats the Raiders. Seeing as the Niners couldn't do that yesterday even with the Riaders trying to hand them the game, I had to settle for mocking the Raiders #1 Draft pick. It isn't as good as seeing them get beat, trust me. >

Well the way they've played in that last decade you've been happier than not. :)
