mts trimming program?

Anyone knows a free mts trimming program? I just want to trim a few seconds off the beginning and the end of a video. The source is my Panasonic camcorder. I use Pinnacle Studio 14 for my editing needs and it will output mts file. However, the maximum bit rate is capped at 12Mb/sec and only 2 channel stereo audio. I'd like to keep the original 17Mb/sec bit-rate and Dolby stereo audio but lose a few seconds from the beginning.
