It's a good thing, because I'm losing one of my big crunchers tomorrow, a Tualitin core PIII850mhz lappy averaging 5hr21min WUs. 🙁

The head guy doesn't like his Dell PII750, and wants an IBM laptop like the new sales force is getting because it's lighter. And since I had this one available, he's going to take it on vacation to test drive. No SETI. 🙁 What's really sad is it will probably be forever before I get the Dell 750 back. He still has the 2 laptops (Dell 166mhz, Gateway 266mhz) from the 2 prior upgrades in the past 3.5 years. :Q

And a PII750mhz laptop I just re-added to the fleet will probably be going bye-bye on Friday. They hired a new person who needs a laptop by Monday. 🙁

I did get a Cely366 back up and running last night though. Oooooooh.....

firestorm sounds cool to me! sorry for my lack of presence recently, when i get some more time i will post some more, but i got a PM from micron so felt i had to come give my vote of aproval to firestorm!

Sorry about my absence from this thread, but I'm really bad at things like this so I figured I'd leave it upt to everybody else.


My first choice is team Fingers, but since I don't think that will be too popular I like Firestorm.

Well if thats just about everyone, i guess well use TeAm FireStorm, i know it's not everyone's first choice but we need a Team name...

I can't get any of my lab computers to connect anymore, or any of my servers. All I'm returning is what my 1700+ is doing at home. I feel bad for the team, but if someone has any ideas on how to get these damn things to connect to Berkley, I'd be more than happy to try it. Now that I'm under 10/day, I'm losing interest. 🙁

Are you using a TeAm proxy?
 
yes, switch to a team proxy. that way you will have a cache for your cache. Due to the bandwidth problems it sounds like you just can't get connected because of berkly's problems. I use orangekids proxy which is orangkid.teamanandtech.com:5001
There are other proxy's available but I don't have their addresses off the top of my head.
