MTP device failing to install (pic)

I get this error when plugging in my zen vison:M It's worked for a while up till now so I have no idea what's changed. I've tried different USB ports, different cables and nothing's changed.

i have seen windows media player 11 break somethings initially when it was released, more so with sonic burning software thats preloaded on hp/compaq machines, you can check to see if auto updates installed it and if it remove it and go back to 10,
the other thing is to removed the software/drivers for it reboot, reinstall and reconnect and see if the same error occurs

Go to device manager. You will find MTP with a yellow mark on it. Right click properties and uninstall.
Reinstall and see what happens.

I uninstalled it through device manager several times with no success. BUT after several reinstalls of WMP11 I finally have it working again.
