I honeslty thought it'd be better, i usually find pop in glass bottles has more taste, but Mtn Dew really is terrible... anyone else experience this?

wow... Anyways, i think its a new thing, Pepsi is trying to make the mtn dew look like beer bottles maybe, cause it def does but they need to get the taste down first

MTN Dew in glass bottle is better than in plastic bottles IMO. The glass help keep it colder for a longer period of time. I remember when you couldn't buy it in plastic bottles.

I remember glass bottles from when I was little. My granny used to keep the fridge stocked with them. Soda was a treat, so I loved visiting her. She was an excellent cook and a wonderful person.

Bite your tongue there you young impetuous whippersnapper. You do realize that MTN Dew will taste slightly different depending on the bottling plant and the location (in the country) of the plant. MN Dew tastes different that FL dew.

And by the way, Diet MTN Dew is a relief for the original hardcore MTN Dew drinkers. Had to make the switch when I realized I was intaking 2500-3300 calories in MTN Dew per day.

Yep - it's too bad that so many people think pop=water.

Plus glass is an absolute barrier whereas plastic allows for molecule exchange.

I vividly remember getting the 8 packs of Pepsi or whatever, and we had a bottle opener on the side of our kitchen cabinet to open them. When you were done with the bottles, you took them back to the grocery store and get a deposit back. Sometimes we'd go hunt for bottles (you could get $.10 each for them!). 10 bottles = sheer aviris in the candy isle 🙂

Man, I'm only 33...this wasn't all that long ago! I read somewhere where plastic is not actually more expensive to recycle than glass. Not sure if that's true or not.

I know glass usually means better taste, but in this case, I really do not agree. maybe they did some shanty packaging, or the batch i got was extremely old. Has anyone else tried this?

There is also the possibility that you have grown accustomed to the plastic packaging taste.
