True, but I believe that the need is for a sense of self worth and it is the loss of it n childhood via being put down as worthless that generates the need for a replacement. The obvious substitute for real self worth is wealth. As my father used to say, money may not be everything but it is way ahead of whatever is in second place. With money one can buy all manner of ego gratification and body pleasure. It’s not like people easily become aware of the emptiness of their inner state. It is that awareness we most deeply repress.

I am constantly reminded of this when I hear on the radio or TV some ad for some product I deserve to experience. Every kind of inner emptiness created by robbery in childhood carries with it a sense of entitlement. That’s just another face to victim mentality. We really were victims, doubly so for our contempt of them.

The research in question was never intended to achieve "gain of function". There never was an order for Fauci to put an end to it, merely the denial of a funding request. None of that has anything to do with the pandemic, either, other than to flood the zone with shit.
