I have tried minimizing Word by using the button in the top right corner of the screen, clicking its taskbar button, using Win+M, or by using the Show Desktop button.
When I later maximize the window by clicking it taskbar button, the window will open the whole way and then disappear. It does do this with any predictability though, it doesn't happen every time and it doesn't happen more with any particular method of initially minimizing it.
I have set the autosave to every few minutes and have been saving it myself, but I have still lost some work today. This has happened on and off for months, but has happened 5 or 6 times today alone.
I'm using office xp and running xp pro.
I also started using CoolMon recently, but haven't added anything else new lately.
