MSVCP60.DLL linked to missing MSVCRT.DLL:__lc_collate_cp???

I get this message (the title of this thread) whenever I start Windows. I assume this is something about Microsoft Visual C++ version 6.0, but how do I fix it?

Appears that you have an out-of-date MSVCRT.DLL. If you have Microsoft Visual C++ version 6.0, reinstall it. If you don't, then get MSVCRT.DLL from the Office 2000 CD.....it's inside one of the CAB files in the root directory.

No matter now though... I downloaded the Microsoft Libraries Update as well as some other file (mfc42.cab, which, when extracted, was just mfc42.exe) and those two files fixed the problem.
