Dayum!

I saw this on television, and I was stunned. I listen to his show on Am radio in Houston sometimes, and the guy can be a complete asshole - especially to anyone with an opposing viewpoint.

He deserved to get axed.

Then why won't he elaborate on how exactly the gay community is attacking them? Oh....right....because he's just spewing crap to get a rise out of people and stated exactly that.

you go Bama :p they just do not agree with you that is not being a troll if so %50 posters here would be.

intolerance is not a bad thing forcing people to think the way you do do is.:disgust:
No one's forcing anyone to think anything. Many of us think Savage is a hateful asshole and MSNBC agrees. A quick search reveals that you were one of the many shouting that the Dixie Chicks got exactly what they deserved for speaking their minds. Explain to me how this doesn't make you a raging hypocrite?

The sad thing is that so many people actually agree with and like the stuff this guy says.

BAMAV00 being one of them.

I would agree with the gay stuff. It is not needed or wanted in our society. If you think it is you are blind. I don't care if you think they have a choice. It is destroying the home as we know it and will only continue as you liberal morons get behind the gay movement.

Homosexuals certainly aren't destroying my home. Could you please explain how they destroy yours?

I think he meant that he's overly weak-minded and can be easily influenced. Seeing someone with a differring lifestyle or hearing someone with opposing opinions become a direct threat to his individuality, so he would rather do away with anything that does not coincide with his beliefs. Or at least that's how he came across. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Good luck on that, Fausto; I've been saying that for months, but that isn't what they say on Fox News, so it can't be true.

Huh ? What? searching past threads over a month old is kinda lame. I have better things to do with my time but actually if you searched this thread I clearly stated "MSNBC has a right to fire him" also "I really thought he sad stuff just to piss people off so i didn't bother watching like most. " the guy is a jerk he did get what he deserves and so did the Chicks. Just read the current thread next time before you go wasting your time (actually you do have the right to waste your time)

Ya you are forcing that he doesn't have the right to HATE gays. He does and he has every right to. Doesn't he? regardless he is off MSNBC and will stay on radio. Don't call Bama a trolljust cause he doesn't agree with you that is childish. He doesn't like gays so what I think most people have some reservations about the gay community. Just go to rural America announcing your gay there will get you beat up, shunned, and shut out. I'm not saying that is right but it happens. We ALL have the right to take a side that is one of the great things about America and unfortunately some people want to shove PC beliefs down all our throats.

Funny how no one is saying anything about the caller who instigated this outburst. I was watching it on my ReplayTV and was in shock, I skipped back to try to make out what the caller said but it was "bleeped" out. It was not like the guy just called up and said "I'm a homosexual" and got the wrath of Savage, this caller said something pretty bad to cause this. Savage should not have acted like that on the air, in fact he was an idiot for reacting in that way, but I still want to know what the caller really said.

Sounds like Msnbc is caring more about ratings/homosexual viewers, than the gay caller. I personally don't even watch the channel, because it is not up to level to a real news channel. I remember them bashing Jeraldo Riviera during the Iraw incident. While I personally don't like him myself, for a news network to attack an individual like that is pretty lame. Msnbc is "suck" channel.

Personally I would boycott and encourage anyone who would listen to boycott any company that associated itself with a bigot no matter who the bigot hated.

I've never seen his show, but it's MSNBC's perrogative to fire him for eating too many doughnuts in the studio break room if they want. Now if he said this and was getting arrested or fined, *then* I'd be pissed.

Saying "I don't approve of your lifestyle" is one thing. Telling someone to get AIDS and die is a wholly different deal. Gay or not, it's still rude and uncalled for - in any context.

I mentioned it in my post. Everyone is acting like he knew that he was on air. If you were getting viciously attacked verbally, on your own TV show, I'd bet that you'd get pissed off too. The fact that Savage could still hear the caller and speak to him, even after the caller had been cut from the air woudl have pissed me off. Face it, if you were in his position, and your angry outburst wwas shown on TV while you thought that you were at a commercial break, your jobs would probably be in jeopardy too ;)
