MSNBC Compares Rush Limbaugh To Moammar Gadhafi

MSNBC host of All In Chris Hayes has compared Rush Limbaugh to Moammar Ghadafi.

"As one Twitter user put it, on the bright side, Gigli's no longer the worst thing she's done. Now, of course, this isn't the first time a celebrity has performed for an egomaniacal tyrant who uses fear and paranoia to keep followers in line. Beyonce did sing at a New Year's eve bash to entertain the family of Moammar Gadhafi and Elton John performed at the fourth wedding of Rush Limbaugh."
This just shows how out of touch MSNBC is when they make these baseless over the top claims. They used this to attack Limbaugh but don't even explain it.

Ghadafi actually killed people and ordered a terrorist attack and was oppressive towards his people, Limbaugh has done nothing similar.

And they did this while having decreased ratings.

MSNBC’s great experiment of putting Chris Hayes at 8 PM has turned into a total disaster as All In is delivering the network’s lowest ratings since 2006.

Chris Hayes’ second full month in prime time since taking over for Ed Schultz saw total viewership drop by 32%, and viewership among those age 25-54 decline by 13%. All In’s bad ratings caused The Rachel Maddow Show to deliver its worst ratings month since 2008. Maddow’s ratings are down 21% in terms of total viewers, and 22% with viewers age 25-54. The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell had the smallest decline in total viewers at 18%, but suffered a 33% decline with viewers age 25-54.
This is an insult to people who actually suffer under dictatorship and MSNBC should take back the statement.

Was Chris Hayes wrong for comparing Limbaugh to Ghadafi? Do these statements hurt the ratings of msnbc?

Here's an article which provides the context that the Jennifer Lopez performed for Turkmenistan dictator Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. That's who Gaddafi was being compared against.

I'll give this Chris Hayes the benefit of the doubt that Rush Limbaugh wasn't counted among the "tyrants" since he doesn't run a nation or anything bigger than his radio show. The "egomanical" part probably fits Rush though.

Either way, there will probably being a "clarification" and non-apologetic apology coming from him soon - "I'm sorry if what I said may have offended someone..."

So the guy who constantly compares the President to Hitler might have possibly been compared to Gaddhafi.

Who cares.

I wonder if it will be as heartfelt as the "apologies" Rush has given.

OP may or may not be mentally handicapped since he couldn't detect an obvious joke. The joke is the stark contrast between a guy who kills people and a guy who just yells at people when he's wrong. Comparing things that are radically different is a common element of comedy. Example: John McCain's medical records seemed to be trillions of pages while Obama's medical records fit on 1 page. On the Daily Show, Jon Stewart said something about McCain releasing his thousands of pages of records then said Obama decided to release his records as well; at this point Jon held up a single sheet of paper and the audience laughs.

Brain damage in general was not a killjoy. But people with damage in one particular area - the right frontal lobe - had trouble understanding jokes that required making verbal connections, and ``had absolutely no smile or laugh'' even if they did understand the jokes, said the study's lead author, psychologist Prathiba Shammi. Instead, they visibly appreciated only obvious, slapstick humor.

orly? I wonder if most Americans had brain damage back when the 3 retards were popular. OH, HE SLAPPED CURLY AGAIN. THAT IS SO FUNNY. I HATE BLACKS.

Only because your side is the one doing the attacking so you're alright with it. This is typical of msnbc and the left.

I think its a little unfair to Ghadaffi. Rush is more like pond scum or that white stuff that comes out of a cyst.

So you are also just spouting something to get some attention? It's your right to post what you want t so you can appear clever. I won't try to stop you from demonstrating your utter ignorance. I wonder what the family members of the people Ghadaffi killed would say to you.

An extremely intelligent man once told me to never wise up a chump. 'Nuff said.

Why are you supporting the terrorists, Incorruptible? We all want to know.

Does Incorruptible really support terrorists? If he does why hasn't somebody turned him into DHS? Remember you are either for us or for the terrorists. It is your duty as an American citizen to turn in those you suspect of siding with the terrorists.

So you have no problem with your conscience suggesting that some who you know has never had underage sex slaves to say that they did? I know you're trying to be "silly", but you are also insulting yourself.

Arguably as posters we're all "spouting something to get some attention." Some of us are doing this by engaging in a little light hearted ribbing in a ridiculous thread which leaves little other option, as nonsense begets nonsense, while you're just being a poopiehead for its own end (lol?)

I think most of us are ok with a gigantic jackass blowhard getting a taste of his own medicine.
