MSNBC: Afghanistan Ruling Party, Taliban, Refuse to Turn Over Bin Laden

I think this is a stupid stupid move. If the Taliban had any hope of diverting war, it would have been to hand over Bin Laden.

I know they said that Bin Laden is not responsible for the WTC attacks. Even if that were true, I think everyone agrees that
Bin Laden was responsible fpr the USS Cole bombing.

Well I don't think they're stupid, so they do know that they could have avoided war. But they are choosing not to. That's their choice, and they'll end up dying as a consequence to their actions. I just hope it doesn't screw up the whole friggin world.

No way! They're too used to us just bluffing and trying to be the nice guy that always gets his teeth kicked in. And also they can't give up bin Laden for the same reason we can't just do nothing, it's against their principles. Muhammad said that a guest in your house is more important than your own family, and you must protect them with your very life, and with the life of your sons, and your daughters as well. If there is even one crumb of food in a Muslim's home and his children are starving, if his guest asks for that last crumb of food then he must give it to him. In the twisted minds of these people you can kill thousands of innocents in the name of Allah and go to Heaven, but to fail in your obligations to your guest will land you a place in Hell.
