MSN won't send files

The problem here is that MSN Messenger won't send any files. It always says the connection was blocked or something. Ive checked my firewall and allowed access for MSN Messenger and it dosnt have any history of blocking any outward bound connection. It happens always, even after i reformat my comp.

Some people say that it's because im on a network and MSN won't send files through a network, but i believe this is not the case as my sister shares the same internet connection, using the Orinocco wireless as a broadband router and it works just fine for her.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

I have never been able to get MSN Messenger to send files when behind a NAT router, be it ICS, NAT in W2kS or W2k3S, or a SOHO router.

Not sure how your sister is able to send files and you're not when using the same shared net connection.

I would sure like to know how to get it to work, so i am gonna be subscribing to this thread :)

6.0 huh? Well I'll try it because I've never been able to send or receive files or use voice using MSN messenger behind a router. Even when I open all the ports or go DMZ.

Fully operational I believe. I had the Beta, but it said that there was an update, and when I installed that (the same as from the messenger page) it no longer says Beta on it :)
