MSN Virus!!! How DO i GET RID OF IT???

My girlfriend got the msn virus (the one that pops up and tells you to download something acting like the person you are talking to is sending it to you). Now she has it and it wont go away!! How do we get rid of it?
 
Well, I'd do a virus scan. (Honestly, I've never seen this one before, and I'm not sure which it is...)

Option 1. Housecall from Trend is a free online scanner. It won't prevent the next virus, but will find and deal with any viruses you have now...

Option 2. AVG from Grisoft is a free antivirus program. It'll find the virus you have now AND keep you from getting the next one ... assuming you keep the definitions updated.

 
AVG works well - get that and use it =)

i try and stay away from most ms products when i have the feasable option.
