MSN toolbar == Google Toolbar

Just installed MSN toolbar on the lappy and here's what I think of it, compared to google.

1) It doesn't require you to send information to google in order to enable pop-up blocker
2) Has nice Highlight feature, which allows you to search for a phrase on the page you're currently viewing. It highlights all the matches and then display a scaled down version of the page on the right, with all matches highlighted so you can quickly get to them.
3) It generally looks better than google toolar.
4) The only disadvantage I see is that it uses MSN search instead of google. But then again, I don't know how bad MSN search is compared to google. Plus, weren't they about to improve MSN, as part of a multi-million dollar project?

i didnt send any info to google to get hte pop up to work??

i said no to that and my bar still works.

Odd, when I was installing it it said I had to answer yes if I wanted to have advanced features.

Did you even try it to find out? Or did you just read that and take their word for it?

1) I dont have it sending info, and it blocks pop ups
2) google toolbar has a highlight feature
3) looks are subjective in this case, and they both take the same amount of space
4) google search is better then msn search, and that is a major disadvantage.

thanks for playing

Why shouldn't I take their word, eh? It's good to see that it still works though. I also didn't see the highlight feature, gotta give it a better look.

Anyways, thanks eveybody for your comments. I'lll update the subject 🙂

1) pop up blocker isn't an advanced feature. the only advance features at the moment are PageRank display and Category I believe
2) yes
3) yes
4) accounts for 99% of the reason why you'd use the google toolbar

5) I use firefox so I don't need no stinkin' toolbar.
