DSL just became available in my area about 2 days ago. They left a flyer on my door about a deal for Qwest DSL with MSN Premium for $26.99 a month. Does anyone know anything about MSN Premium.....Ive never used anything "MSN" and thought I would get some opinions on it. Is it like some AOL crap? This sound like a good deal? My only other broadband option is comcast at over $50 a month..

thanks:)

The $26.99 deal is if you already have a phone line and a phone line "package" with qwest. And is is for 256k/256k DSL. The service is through qwest's lines and they actually are the ISP too (although they say MSN is), you just get an MSN e-mail account and access to all the MSN crap.

If you don't need them to host your e-mail, you can get a 1.5/1 line from qwest for $35.99 a month with their Qwest Broadband Basic ISP. It is just a connection to the internet, no e-mail or webspace, but if you already have your own, what's the difference? :)

I'm using it.
it's nothing like AOL.
it's actually pretty useful IMO.

You basically get a larger mailbox I think 25mb and some other features that I rarely use.
I jsut got it for the 25mb email.

i use MSN premium. some nice features including Money Online which basically allows you to manage all your money and syncs with most banks to keep your banking info coming in.

it's basically like having Money and Outlook online.
