msn mobile for cellphones

i would like to have msn messenger on phone but do they charge extra for it? or is it free...b/c they are vague about this.

i assume it should be free to use while using it is priced on the service you have right?

i use verichat for my treo 650. it's $24.95 i think for the download and $19.95 a year or something. it gives you MSN, AIM, yahoo, and i think ICQ. it's nice.

however, you need to have a Palm PDA phone and probably a service for web or something along those lines (unlimited SMS helps too). otherwise, the whole idea would be pointless.
