It's been toast all day. Went down at 3AM with a set of 3 maintenance warnings , saying it's be back in 5 minutes. Never came back.
 
Nope. So far, I've been getting some and dropping others. I'm online, and I see other people online, but messages are not really going/coming.
 
still dead. i can sign on..but i cant receive messages..and no one can get mine.

i heard a MSN virus that sends messages to everyone on the buddy list was in force yesterday.........must have took down the message servers.

I was having difficulty sending MSN messages, perhaps that was the cause.
 
Just realised I cannot send messages. And have trouble signing in too.

I switched because of the file size, but mostly because everyone I knew had switched to msn already.

The only thing i did not like about ICQ was the SHIFT+enter to send a msg, or tab enter? I forget, but was kind of annoying 🙂
 
Finally works. It was down a few days ago too. Friday if I remmember correctly.


I used to use ICQ until about a year ago. I used it since 96 or so. I just use MSN most the time and sometimes AIM to talk to some people who are too stubborn to just use MSN. MSN is by far supperior.
 
Dead for me too.

ICQ was the best, but it started getting bloated with useless features, and majority of my friends switched to MSN
