This happened on my old laptop, and it's occurring on my new machine as well. This is the latest version of MSN Messenger, and I also know that this very version runs fine on other machines. I'm suspecting a DLL or registry error to be the culprit here, but I don't know.
This is a very annoying problem that I would genuinely like to fix. It's only recently cropped up, and didn't even occur when I first upgraded to the newest version of MSN Messenger.
