A friend of mine has been having problems with her MSN. For some reason, she cant logon at all. She tried and tried, even entering her secret question, yet it always said that she had tried to enter the password too many times and is locked out. No matter how long she waits, it gives her the same answer.
I went over and used her computer, found a program that shows what the current password is, and we had noticed that it wasnt the same. It was actually just 3 letters, yet she hadnt changed it, and she said it was a hard password to guess, even her secret question was a tough one.
She doesnt have an alternate email to have the password sent to her either.
I figured maybe it was a virus, so i took down the password and tried it from my computer at home, but everytime i tried to connect it said that there was a problem with the network and to try again later. My own account connected fine, but hers just wouldnt.
We've almost given up on this account, but she would like to get her contact list though. Is there any way to show who was in your contact list? She wants to just get the people she wants on it, and then start a new account if she cant figure this one out.
Any help would be appreciated, as we tried for a while to get this working.
Thanks.
