every time i try to remote assistance or whiteboard with my friend, he automatically declines.... we can webcam and play games together but thats about it...

anyone know how to fix this?
 
Wrong Forum. And have him run all of his Windows Updates. He might have to download LiveJournal or whatever it's called. A Microsoft program.
 
hey probably doesn't have the appropriate port opened on his firewall. Set up instructions

Port 3389 is the only port you need to open. Windows will attempt to stream sound through User Datagram Protocol (UDP) first. If no port is available for UDP, sound will stream through a virtual channel in Remote Desktop Protocol, which uses port 3389.
