MSN messenger file transfer behind Linksys Router?

I have a 4 port Linksys router/wireless access point. I cannot transfer files using MSN messenger. I can receive files from other users just fine but I cannot send them.

All of the settings in my router are the same as when it came out of the box (except for IP and DNS information). Has anyone made this work? If so, what setting do I need to change?

You may have to download a UPnP firmware update for your router. That's what I had to do for my Barricade to get it to work for me.

check to make sure that Mesengers file transfer port is open on your router. Also, it is possible that your ISP is blocking the port that mesenger uses to send and receive files like many do with Kazza or sub 7
