Cheers. Doesn't appear to be anything really new like there was going from 5 to 6, but it's always nice to be ahead of the game :)

I use Yahoo messenger because I thought that you could only talk with one person at a time with MSN messenger. Is that a correct assumption?
You can talk with multiple people with Yahoo.

wrong assumption . lol u can have as many windows open at once, or a conversation where everyone is involved.. MSN > icq > aim > etc..

Nope, you can invite people to join a exisitng chat Window.

how come I can't use v7? Everytime I try to login it says a newer messenger is available and it downloads v6.2 :confused:

edit: found a newer version of msn 7, installed that and everything works great.

Microsoft tried to stop users from logging in with MSN Messenger 7 by forcing you to click OK to the the "Upgrade" to MSN Messenger 6.2. I've heard that there are ways around it, but it seems like MS doesn't want this leaked version out so we won't discuss that here.

It's no biggie, some of cool new features weren't implemented yet. The best thing implemented was probably being able to see the users avatar instead of just their name when they sign-in
