I use www.msn.com for my home page. I had this configured so that it showed me links that I often use and some financial and weather stuff as well. About a week ago MSN changed their steup so that my home page is a default news page called 'MSN Home' and then I have to click a tab to view my personalized data which is called 'My MSN'...which SUCKS! I have tried to paste the address I get at 'My MSN' into my home page address bar but it still defaults back to MSN's intro page. Is there a way to force it to the personalized portion of their page?

If not what is a good page to use for home page. I want a page that can display at least 10 personal links and selected news/sports/weather that can be tailored to my area. Thanks

You have to make that change in Windows . . . pasting into the address box does no good.

In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, and make the Home Page address change there.

Yeah...actually that was what I was trying to say that I had done. But it still defaults back to the MSN Home page even tho I put the link to My MSN in the home page area under IE options. I think MSN changed this so they could get more advertising on the splashpage.

I believe you need to be logged into Passport with a hotmail.com or msn.com account. Set it up to log you in auto if you are using your home computer or one that you only see. That should bring up your personal stuff each time you bring up the page via a "cookie" if you remain logged into Passport. Good Luck!
