A friend who has a Hotmail account has this line automatically attached to every email he sends out. He can't prevent it, as it is a "feature" of his free email account.

"Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail"


Ironic, dontcha think...




 
If it's just a line of text like that, that's one thing. If it actually sent a separate e-mail with every legit message he sent, that's another. Granted, this is a "SPAM-like" tactic, but I don't necessarily consider it to be pure SPAM.
