msn disconnections

i'm sure a lot of us (continue to) have problems with MSN Messenger. The latest quirk is it disconnecting for apparently no reason. Has anyone noticed that this happens when someone on your contact list disconnects or is it just me?

I don't think I have ever seen msn disconnect on me and I'm behind a firewall.
