MSN 9 Users - disabling all sounds?

There's a couple options to disable sounds, but the annoying chimes when logging in still remain. Is there a way to get rid of those sounds as well?

I don't think anyone else here is "tech" enough to be using MSN

i have msn 9, i dunno if i should continue using it it seems like it takes up many resources, and i have this problem where messenger i constantly signing off and on (i have a firewall[ezfirewall] if this helps) andits a nuisance anyway to stop this
