MSIVGA.OCX initialization error

Finally loaded the MSI utilities to try overclocking, and this is the error message I get, right after a screen shows what looks like a console with temp, speed etc... After a couple tries, and then uninstalling it then reinstalling it, it doesn't even go to the console screen, it just goes straight to this error message..
oh yeah, 6600GT running on P4 3.0 w/ 1gig pc3200 ddr2 with latest (as of a couple weeks ago) vid drivers from Nvidias site.

any ideas?

The bios is your friend when OCing.

I wouldn't recommend any programs for OCing frankly.

I wondered why the MSIVGA error...i assumed you were trying to OC your CPU, since you posted this originally in GH.

When i was OCing my 6800 GT, i just used Coolbits. I hear it recommended alot; you could try that out.
