MSI's K7-Master S

I'm thinking about buying the MSI k7-Master S. Anyone out there using this mobo with any comments on it?

planned setup:
MSI k7-Master S
256 Crucial DDR PC2100
1Ghz Thunderbird (266)


opinions welcome. keep in mind im upgrading from a abit bp6 running dual celerons o/c'ed to 500mhz so while I know
im not putting together a state of the art computer it will be a step up for me. my main concerns are stabilty followed by performance.

Hmm well I have a 1.0/266 TBird and a K7 Master (non-SCSI) version sitting beside me.

Everyone I've talked to is very impressed with this board. I haven't put my system together yet, but it's coming soon

I don't think I've heard any negative comments yet on this specific board, and AMD760 is defiantely the way to go.

I waited over two months for the Master-S to come out but it still hasn't, so I ended up buying an Asus A7M266 the other day. The K7 Master has gotten favorable reviews (placing it atop other AMD761-based boards) but there have been so many negative user experiences (from AMD Zone and AMDmb.com forums) I decided to go with the Asus. Your mileage may vary, as I'm sure not all the K7 Master mobos have problems (like those mentioned over at the AMD forums).
