I recently formated my HD and re-loaded Windows 98 because of a "illegal operation" and other problems that I couldn't seem to get fixed. That fixed those problems but now another new problem. Ever since the re-load when I try to open programs,- especially outlook express, - nothing happens when I click to open them. If I hit Ctrl, Alt, Delt the Close Program box comes up and "Msimn(Not Responding)" is highlighted. If I then hit "End Task" I can open the program normally, usually. Sometimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times. It also happens at other times, like when I am using photo shop. Basicly any time I can't get something on my computer to work, it will be because "Msimn" is not responding and if I "End Task" it will work. This is happening very often and driving me nuts!!! Any ideas???
 
Msimn is the executable file for Outlook Express.. I would suggest removing it from the Windows Setup area of Add/Remove programs and try to reload it from there or snag the new version from Windows Update.
