MSIE keeps locking up

i would like to know how to uninstall it also. I have finally decided to try opera. Can i just uninstall it from the control panel and then delete it's folder in the programs files?

You can't uninstall it completely. It's part of the core operating system.

glen, can you be more specific about the problems you are seeing? Do they occur when IE first loads? When you view certain web pages? It like has to do with a misbehaving plug-in (perhaps spyware).
