MSIE 5...how do you disable ratings without the password???

My GF's dad had ratings enabled apparently but doesn't know the password...it asks for a "supervisor password" to change the settings...and there is no logon password enabled...is there a registry key somewhere that controls this? I couldn't find anything obvious...and deleting the password list did NOT work...its not in there. I would appreciate any info on this...its blocking alot of websites, including the MSN gaming zone.
