Hi everyone,
I am having a frustrating time trying to get this motherboard to work with my ram.
System specs are :
MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon
Intel Core i5-6600K @ 4.5Ghz
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 CMK32GX4M2B3200C16
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2 PSU
The ram is on the memory compatibility list for this motherboard : https://ca.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z170A-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html#support-mem
I have updated to the latest BIOS. Overclocking the CPU is no problem, the memory does not run stable on anything other than stock 2133Mhz. Has anyone been able to get this to work? I am wondering if I return this ram, are there any other 32GB kits known to work with this board? If not, which is the fastest 16GB kit known to work with this board? I chose Corsair LPX since it is low profile as I have the Noctua NH-D15S CPU cooler.
