ok i just finished my exams. 
now im building my new comp, need to decide on gfx card maker.
quite a few users here have the MSI X800XL... i tried to find reviews on it, one says the card is loud, the other doesnt... :7 can anyone tell me something concrete about this card? just how loud does it get when idle/under load? i dont mind it being loud when gaming coz the comps under the table and i use a headset, but what about when idle? could you describe the noise it makes?
when replying, please keep in mind that im keeping my case under the desk, which does reduce the perceived noise level somewhat. i will be pairing the card with an nzxt nemesis elite which has three 120mm fans for cooling.
id like to get this card, its got tons of good stuff going for it, bundle and price, but i really need to know something concrete about the cooling. its about 40 bucks cheaper than a huge but silent dual-slot card, the HIS IceQII X800XL Turbo. im worried about having a dual-slot card coz i may be planning to upgrade to crossfire in the future and dual-slot just takes too much space. im fitting the card into a DFI LanParty nf4 ultra-d, and im also concerned whether the dual slot size will not get in the way of other components/buses on the mobo.
the msi x800xl is 40 bucks cheaper than the HIS, and id like to splash those 40 bucks on other components, eg better memory or better venice. plz dont post newegg links im building this system in europe i just did the currency conversions for conveniency.
