Just an FYI I have this card and the stock cooler on it was a serious problem. It barely worked and when it did it would "pulsate". Fortunately I was already planning to put on the Aerocool cooler and I had it but just be aware of this.

Also this card is HOT and I mean nuclear melt down hot .. ouch!!

But I gotta tell ya COD2 has never ran so fast or looked so damn good ... EVER!! (of course not only the card is helping but the new E6400 in the machine as well :D)

Anyway enjoy cards fellas!!

GCS, Just curious. When you say it runs hot -- how hot?? Like, how many degrees did this thing raise your MB and Core temps?
If I get one of these, do I need to worry about replacing the stock cooler or cut holes in my case or something?

I've been holding off on buying an X1900XT (or XTX) just to see what happens in the market this month. But it seems like all thats going on is the new 1950 *might* be released sometime soon... maybe... So this seems like a great deal for right NOW. Maybe not so great next month.

Anyone have any thoughts as to why MSI is the only manufacturer with a crazy rebate like this?
