MSI vs. DFI?

I was looking to purchase either the MSI k8n Neo 4 platinum, or the dfi lan party NF4. I guess the question I have is, the MSI says it will support SATA 2. Is SATA 2 going to eventually be the new standard and there for would it be smarter to purchase the MSI and somewhat prepare for the future. Thanks
 
I believe they both support sata2 since they are both NF4 chipsets. The only benefit of the MSI mobo is if you get the SLI one that comes with onboard soundblaster chipset sound.
