I want to know what would be the best board for me, obviously I dont need raid support, and I dont think that stability would be an issue on any of the boards. I know all of the boards can be overclocker friendly but the turbo has its bios problems, the iwill may have some jumper problems and the abit is just there

the prices i have found are 132 shipped for the abit and iwill and 120 shipped for the turbo.

basically i wanted to know bottom line which i should get, i am a first time overclocker and will probably get a t-bird 900 or something like that. all i really want is the least aggrivation neccessary, i know u guys can help.

thanks a lot

The smoke still hasn't cleared to which KT133A is the best right now. I'd suggest you wait for Anand's upcoming KT133A mobos round-up to help you decide.

The Anandtech staff said they are still testing two more KT133A mobos as of this time so expect two more reviews quite soon.

if you wait for one month, you will get what you want, plus the DDR ram should be cheaper by then ....

I am in the process of buiding a new system and the only thing keeping me from finishing it is deciding which Mobo to get. I plan on getting an AMD 1Ghz T-bird processor and I dont plan on overclocking. I'm not looking for a RAID system, just a box that is easy to build and stable.

When I first started out about two months ago I had planned on getting MSI's K7T Pro2a mobo. Is this a good chose of Mobo since I dont have any plans for overclocking?

You're better off with the newer KT133A chipset. If you want MSI, then take the MSI Turbo though be wary of the current "issues" the mobo has. Do a search throughout the forums about it and decide if it's the one for you.
