MSI Ti4600 getting low 3dmark 2001 scores

I just got the card the other day, it is running stock 315 core clock and 660 mem clock. I changed Image Settings - Quality to High Performance and everything else was left alone, Antialiasing is off Antistropic Filtering is off and Texture Sharpening is off. The highest 3dmark 2001 score so far has been 8718. Anyone have any ideas?

what 3dmark settings are you using? screen resolution? and try changing the image setting to its original perhaps...?

3dmark settings are as follows:
1024x768 @ 32bit
compressed textures
D3d pure hardware T&L
no antialiasing
z-buffer depth: 24
frame buffer: double

You should be able to get 13-14k with that setup. I am running a 4400 with a 2500+ @ 3200+ and my best is 14k. Do you have any unnecessary processes running in the background? Virus?

I had to reinstall the SIS agp drivers with my motherboard, I got it up to 13250, but when i used coolbits to oc it from 315/660 => 315/715 i only got a 11722... any ideas?

Im getting a bit over 8,000 and I thought that was low even for my setup.

ECS K7S5A
1700+ @1500GHz 11x138fsb
512mb PC2100
Asus Gforce4 Ti 4600 Ultra (stock speeds)
Enermax 300watt PS

Also while playing 1942 my computer freezes up and need to reboot. It also does this during the 2nd benchmap on 3dMark 2003. I thought I had it fixed but didnt after all. The guy I bought the card from said a OS Reinstall should fix the problem since it worked for someone else with the same problem, however I dont wanna reinstall my OS since its a huge pain.

I get approx 11000 with a 2500 barton and a stock gf4 ti4200, your scores do seem quite low considering my fx5200 ultra gets 9737 and my old fx5200 got 7680.

I am getting that same CPU and the ti4200! How is the system? What games can you play on it? And what mobo do you have, and what RAM?

And who was the manufacturer of the ti4200?

I use this system for playing everything and I havn't found a game yet it can't run well. I've played everything from gta vice city to freelancer all with max settings without any problems. The motherboard I use is the Asrock k7s8x (Asus's budget label) and is based on the Sis746fx chipset (cost me only £42 about the same as a new game and comes with 8x agp, 333fsb, onboard sound and lan etc.) and the memory I use is 512mb Crucial 2700 DDR333 (once again only cost me approx £45 on sale). The 128mb Geforce4 Ti4200 I use is made by MSI and is the 8x vivo version clocked at 250/512mb.

My system as a whole is fast and stable, I put it together about 4months ago and havn't had a single problem yet. What people usually forget when building their own pc is that you MUST purchase a decent power supply or your system is going to be very unstable.

Yeah, my scores seem low also. I'm running a GeForce FX 5600 Ultra, p4 1.8GHz, 512 RD-RAM, newly reformatted hard drive and I get 9,100 Marks on 3dmark 2001 se. People with worse computers get much higher scores than me, so I'm a little confused. Any1 have any recommendations?
