MSI Ti-4200 noise?

i heard from someone that the fan on the msi 4200 is pretty quiet but then again he's trying to sell his (he wants video in) so I dunno... anyone got the card already? if so could you tlll me how loud the fan on it is?

thomas' hardware web page has an article comparing the different geforce4 cards. 4400s and 4600s. I think the MSI ones were actually the loudest in the round up.

Well I just put a 4400 in a computer and you can't hear it even with the side of the case off if that is any help

Dude, I was that guy. And I was NOT lying to you. The MSI GF4 4200 has a very quiet fan. I run a VERY quiet system and the fan on this card could NOT be heard above my low speed Sunon case fans. All of the reviews that say the MSI has a noisy fan are referring to the 4400 and 4600 cards. They use a much higher rpm fan than the 4200 card.

By the way, I have already sold the card so I am not trying to "sell" you on something.
Some people are way to paranoid!
