MSI S270 or S260?

Basically I'm interested in these two MSI models, since they're comparatively cheap where I live and have a great form factor (small, light, 12" widescreen)

Both are exactly the same price, but here are the differences;
MSI S260 - Centrino 1.7 2mb cache, Integrated 915GM graphics, 1.8kg
MSI S270 - Turion 3000+, ATi RS480 , 1.9kg

Both have same 12" widescreen, Same 60gb HD and same 512mb RAM. Wireless network is included in both, too.

Since I guess they'll be similar in everyday tasks, (internet, word, dvds etc) i'm basing my decision on their performance in games, and battery life. Which would you prefer? I'm not a heavy gamer, mind you. Running call of duty is enough for me, and I play it fine on a 1.7ghz celeron +16MB Geforce go 420 laptop. I hope the MSI will be faster

Turion.

i like the s270, but i'd much rather go for something with the new nVidia integrated chipset.

What is the going price for s270 with the mt-30, 512mb & 60gb?

OK, guess i'm going with the turion, because of margianally better video card. I'll get it with the MT-30 CPU, then hopefully in a year's time when prices are down i'll upgrade it to MT-40 or better. I live in Malta, and the price it's going at is LM600 - roughly equivalent to USD $1500, but VAT is sky high here so I guess it's a good price, especially considering that other laptops around here that cost that much are lower specced than this and bulkier 😀
