Finally! I am able to overclock my machine. I was able to find a download link to a pre-release version of clockgen for the RS480 board. It allows setting the FSB to intervals of 204, 210, 214 and 220mhz. I tested at 210 and worked fine, then bumped up to 220 with no issues. This is without the ability to tweak ANY voltage settings, but it has been stable running SuperPi 1M, and 3DMark 2K3. Here are my specs:

MSI RS480M2-IL
A64-3000, Winchester core
2x 1GB Geil PC3200 Value
Rosewill Radeon x800 xl
250GB Maxtor ATA-133, 16MB Cache

Here is a screenshot: RS480M2-IL @ 220Mhz FSB

I have been wanting to upgrade to an NF4-Ultra based board for a while now due to the limitations of this board, but the clockgen does just what I need. A little bit of extra punch from a great motherboard. I will be keeping this board probably until the next ATI based chipset comes out which will hopefully have 2x PCIe-16 capability :D

Nice! I don't overclock, so I love my RS480M2-IL. Maybe with overclocking available this excellent motherboard will get a bit more attention.

Any reason to think this would screw up my system? Is it worth it? lol

I'm running a 3000

The ECS is looking good - too bad it has only 2 RAM slots. Not that it would be a great problem
