MSI RS480M2-IL + cpu temps

I would like to know the temps of ppl who have this board and their cpu and how they monitor their temps in Windows.

You can download a piece of software from MSI's site that allows you to monitor the CPU temps. I have forgotten what it is, but I used to have that board and it worked pretty well. I am not sure it reports them correctly though, because O couple fo times it defied physics. *smirk*

My temps are typically 29C idle, 37C under load. The Chenming MATX-118 is a great SFF case design for cooling. I overclock with ClockGen and have even disabled C'n'Q. Temperature readings are consistent within one degree as checked by the Bios PCHealth, the MSI utility and the case sensor.

There are many comments under the "ATI based" area here http://forum.msi.com.tw/ in reference to that board.

Some standard msi utilities don't work yet for that board.

I believe Danno48 has done the most testing.
