according to MSI's online RMA tracking, they will ship me a replacement motherboard tomorrow. it took them 2 weeks to "repair" my motherboard. i thought this wasn't the best customer support because seagate only took one week. what do you guys think?

if they're ground shipping it, that means i won't be getting my package til next friday. that means it has been a near whole month without my computer :(

Dunno what you want to hear, but it's par for course for mobo manufacturers. They probably tried to fix your motherboard before replacing it, most do.

I said it in another thread, and I'll say it again. If you need 24x7x365 uptime, you need a server-class motherboard. At that point, you're looking at a workstation not a desktop. ASUS has advanced RMAs available for server motherboards. Also worth noting that server does not necessairly imply Xeon or Opteron. There are server-class P4 and AthlonXP (maybe A64 too) motherboards.
