MSI R9800pro is really a 9800XT

its a underclocked 9800XT, so all you have to do is overclock the thing. (to XT speeds)

This may be true, but it's still a 128MB card while the XT is a 256MB card, that is warranted to run at those speeds.
I'd call this "tepid" at best on the hot scale, I think a lot of 9800Pros OC to XT speed or close anyway don't they?

yeah but it still gets the same scores as a XT on 3dmark03, people get like 6,600 with these cards

There are 9800pros out there with the 9800xt core. If you have the R360 core on your 9800pro, you have an XT with 128MB ram.
