Msi r9 290 + wddm 1.3?

Hi,

I have the R9 290 and have installed the latest driver for it.

I have a check for updates on Windows 8.1 Pro and got a notice to install WDDM 1.3, should i proceed and install?

Does it show the following?

Intel Corporation - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3 - Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600

If so it was auto installed on my rig running a r9 290 TriX. I have no issues that I've found so far.

I'm kind of puzzled by it as my iGPU is disabled

Skip the Windows Update drivers if you're already manually installing the drivers directly from AMD. Windows Update doesn't do a very good job of figuring out that the driver you have is newer than the one they're offering, and should only be relied upon if you're not doing your own driver installs.
