i already asked that question in TW but no one is helping me there so, looking forward to earn some help from you guys :(

MY PC =

gigabyte H61m-ds2 rev 3.0 mobo (latest bios updated )
i3 3220
2 x 2 GB corsair vengeance running @ 1600mhz
seagette 500gb 7400 rpm
corsair GS 600 PSU
windows 8.1 pro 64 bit (all drivers updated )
msi r7 260x ( latest beta driver installed )

i got each n every thing updated here then why this GPU-z showing my gpu's bus interface as 2.0, i already tried to click that (?) sign next to the bus interface column but still that bus interface column switching between 2.0 to 1.1 and that benchmark of gpu-z keep running but never shows my bus interface as PCI-E 3.0 x16 @ x16 3.0 ( should be like this ) but it was like PCI-E 3.0 x16 @ x16 2.0 or 1.1 ........ any idea whats the problem ??? any help will be highly appreciated .... thanks

one more thing guys .... i just checked in the catalyst centre hardware details and that also shows maximum pci-e capability is 2.0 ....... so then i thought that maybe its something to be tuned under the bios settings so, i checked the bios settings, PEG x option is already sets to GEN 3 and still my r7 is running on PCI-E 2.0 ........ plz help if anyone of u know how that can be done .... plz .............:(

Not sure why off hand, but it doesn't matter. Even if its not just a display issue, and is actually running at 2.0, that card is not nearly fast enough to make use of 3.0. There is literally zero speed difference with that card. Even with very high end cards (such as the 780Ti or 290X) barely see any difference in most situations.

actually it does makes a different ..... a friend of mine and me owns the same gpu with almost the same specs ..... and he is getting 5 to 8 fps more then me in BF4 :( and his card showing pci-e 3.0 capability in gpu-z ..... i dnt think that is there any hardware fault bcz games are running fine but with lower FPS as compared to the benchmarks of 260x and also on my friend's pc .... do u really think its something faulty in my hardware ???

With that card, it really doesn't make a difference.
If he does have PCIe 3.0 that implies he has a difference CPU which might be making the difference.
On a 260, PCIe 2.0 vs 3.0 really won't make a difference.
