Hello,
I bought a P4 3.0 Ghz 800FSB , 1MB cache processor with MSI PT880 Neo -LSR (Outpost/Frys Deal). After install I tried to bring the system up. System POSTS fine but it could not proceed any further. It is stuck at a page where it displays all the devices, like IDE, Disks, cdrw etc in tables. It detects all the devices connected to it. I put my windows XP cd (retail) and try to boot up with that but it is not booting. Reinstalled the board and reseated all the devices like memory, Video card etc but no go. Even tried with single memory stick to avoid mixing DDR2700 and DDR3200. Can someone please help me to get this going. I don't think this is a power issue because system powers up and POSTS fine. IF it doesn't help I will return the board in a day or two. Any help ???

Here is my spec
p4 3.0 Ghx, 1MB cache processor
1Ghz, DDR2700 and DDR3200 mem ( 2X512 sticks)
80GB harddisk
DVDRW
CDRW
128MB Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 Ultra videocard.
35o Watts power

Thanks:brokenheart:

Do you have a Northwood CPU (beg/borrow/steal) to try in the board? Earlier BIOS revisions didn't support Prescott properly. Also, standard troubleshooting applies. Run the board outside of the case with one hard drive and one optical drive, and your best stick of memory. Try clearing the BIOS using the jumper.
