Hello all
First of all, I would like to know if this board can support 266 1.2Ghz thunderbird or if I'd rather go with the 200Mhz version. Also does anyone have a web site with tips and setting for this board?
Thx a lot

i'd get another board regardless if you have a 266 T-bird. lots of users have had this board die on them after about 6 months of usage.

but to answer your question, i don't believe this board will run a 266 t-bird to its full extent. it'll probably run it, but you'll be at 200.

It will run fine, but at a 200mhz FSB. If you have a 266 chip, get a 266 board! You will be much happier. I have an Epox 8k7a and it is a rock solid board with good overclock abilities. Just a suggestion.

Thx for your input all. The fact is that I already have the board along with a duron 600@800 and I was thinking of upgrading the cpu. Since the price of the 200 and the 266 are the same, I was wondering with which one to go.

White: you are right. This board already died on me before and I got it RMAed.

Mofunk: Thx mate but If I have to change the mobo too I will probably end up buying a DDR board+CPU+DDR Ram. I am not sure if it's worth it.

Anyone knows of a site that specialize in giving tips and setting about this mobo?
