I have had this board for quite some time running 24/7. As of right now I can't even get it to sucessfully post or remain stable when booted.

according to the led's i have had it hang on the following errors.

System Power On
Early Chipset Initialization
Memory Detection Test
Initializing Keyboard Controller
Processor Initialization
Initializing Video Interface
BIOS Sign On

These all happen in no paticular order. with processor initialization being the most common. I only have the system power on error after the system sucessfully posts and then I shut it off.

Right now it is a bare system consisting of the motherboard, a sparkle 300w power supply, 512mb crucial ram, tbird 800, and a ati all in wonder radeon.

I swapped power supplies to the sparkle in hopes that that would solve my problem, and it didn't solve anything. I'm thinking that this board may finally be dead, and time to look for a replacement.

Does anyone have any suggestions that may help to salvage this board, or is it shot?

rma it if you can. this line has a history of bad boards. if you can't, get a new board. i had similar problems with this board and got it rma'd once. right after my warrantly expired, the replacement died the same death.

Sadly this board had a similar issue maybe 6 months ago (hung with the dled error of processor initialization, but clearing cmos made it work again normally, it is now about 12-14 months old, so RMA is out of the question, am going to be trying to pick up the ECS K7S5A as a replacement
